Advice After 67i Field Tests

I have tested the Garmin GPSMAP 67i satellite communicator multiple times here in Colorado, and the messaging is really easy to get up to speed on.

Garmin GPSMAP 67i Messaging

The most important thing for you to do is to make sure your contacts and messages are set up in advance on the Explore.Garmin site you will get after you buy a Garmin satellite messenger.

After you have everything setup, it’s a great idea to get out in an area near your home and test your 67i out completely.

Check out the YouTube video below for more detailed information about how you message on the device itself and on the Messenger App.

Garmin Messenger App Tip

You cannot send a Quick Text Message from the Messenger App. You can only send a Quick Text Message from the device itself, and that’s because it is harder to send a message on the 67i and extremely easy to send a long message on the Messenger App.

Here is the 67i field test video for more information.
