If you’re having problems with your satellite communicator that you can’t seem to fix, then Reset Your Garmin inReach Mini 2 to Default Settings.
Reasons to Reset Your Device
- Cannot Send or Receive Messages
- Tracking Lines that You Cannot Delete
- Issues that May be the Result of Switching Back and Forth Between Devices
I have had all of these issues and the only solution to fix my satellite communicator has been to reset to default settings.
Steps to Reset Your Device
Go to your Menu by selecting the OK button, then select SETTINGS, followed by SYSTEM, then RESET DEVICE, and either choose RESTORE DEFAULT SETTINGS or DELETE DATA AND RESET SETTINGS.
Final Thoughts
Any time I have come up against odd issues with my Garmin inReach Mini 2 or my Garmin GPSMAP 66i, resetting the device has corrected the issues.
